HEALTH + SAFETY
As a turnkey space, Second Floor Events is proud to reimagine milestone occasions in the face of today’s current events.
To ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff, we have implemented the following policies to ensure you have a safe experience. Here’s what you can expect:
MASK POLICY
All staff and guests are required to always wear face mask while inside the venue. Masks may be temporally removed while seated to eat and drink
CEREMONY
The couple are not required to wear their masks during the ceremony. Based on current restrictions, guests will be seated at their tables during the ceremony, unless the space allows for a formal, socially distanced setup.
SCREENING
Before entering the venue, all staff, vendors, and guests are required to complete a contact tracing questionnaire via a QR code that is located at our front entrance. Proof of a completed screening questionnaire is required before entering the venue.
STAFF HEALTH & SAFETY
Prior to each employees’ shift, they must complete the COVID-19 pre-shift screening checklist to determine if they are fit for work. ENHANCED SANITATION PROTOCOLS
Hand sanitizer is will now be available for guests and staff in all high traffic areas. Frequent touch points will be sanitized at regular intervals. Every employee is required to wash their hands for 20 seconds upon entering the venue, as well as throughout their shift. Following each event, the venue will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, with all touch points, tables and chairs being wiped down.
WASHROOM ACCESS
In order to maintain distancing between guests, we will limit the number of guests permitted in the washroom at a time. Each event will have an assigned attendant that will be sanitizing all high touchpoint surfaces throughout the event.
